Arctic Delegation: Breaking the Ice

The trip was a first step in forging long-term relationships with leaders in the Arctic nation, and exploring international opportunities for our students in tourism and hospitality, environmental sustainability, public health, cybersecurity, business, and marine technology. Building Engagement, LEGO by LEGO
Students in Mary Anne Peabody's Intro to Expressive Therapy class are learning the value of play therapy by playing around with LEGO building blocks. Offered at USM's Lewiston-Auburn College, the class gives students hands-on experience with an innovative, creative tool for teaching and therapeutic practice. Read more.

Phi Kappa Phi Honors USM Scholars
This month, USM's top scholars were recognized by the collegiate honor society, Phi Kappa Phi. Of the 300 Phi Kappa Phi chapters in North America, USM's was among 15 to earn Chapter of Merit designation. Phi Kappa Phi supports a community of engaged individuals through grants, scholarships, and awards. Read more.
