| A newly-opened free occupational therapy clinic on the University of Southern Maine (USM) Lewiston campus allows Master in Occupational Therapy (MOT) students to provide specialized therapy to real patients with limited or no health insurance. In a field with a growing workforce need, the clinic will make our students highly competitive.

Unum offers students head start on employment

| The innovative Unum Scholars program offers up to a dozen USM students part-time work at the Fortune 500 insurance company each year. The students, whose fields of study include everything from risk management to English, are often hired full-time after graduation.
