Community support for our students is strong. In fact, USM President David Flanagan pledged half his salary to the scholarship fund! Explore the possibilities.         ARTtronics: Integrating art & technology Mixing art and electronics, USM students are working with high schoolers to create interactive sculptures that respond to their surroundings. This unique initiative called ARTtronics is part of a four-year collaboration between USM and Side x Side who share a $1.9 million grant from the US Department of Education. Learn more.         USM women sweep indoor track & field titles The women's indoor track and field team celebrated a 15-year winning streak after earning the New England Alliance and Little East Championship titles this month. Indoor track and field is among 23 Southern Maine Huskies sports teams that compete in one of the most competitive NCAA Division III conferences. Read more.         USM job fair a big hit! This month, over 400 students had the chance to connect with over 90 employers at one of our biggest job fairs ever. They shared resumes, took job descriptions and business cards, and explored career opportunities in Greater Portland — from healthcare and education to technology and telecommunications.
